The latest of the four-year-old auction races to be run this season that is confined to horses sold for E25,000 or less and it looks to be a wide-open affair. Thechaseison made a costly mistake on the final circuit in a similar event at Kirkistown earlier in the season which can excuse that and he did finish third at Cragmore on his debut behind Wide Receiver. He was three lengths in front of the potentially re-opposing Get Busy Livin in the Cragmore contest, whilst Frisco Bay finished fourth in the latest auction race to be run at Durrow last month.

SHALLOW RUN was well supported in the market ahead of her most recent effort at Ballyvodock, so much so that she went off as the odds-on favourite. She repay her supporters following a two-length defeat on that occasion. Racks Cross took a big step forward when a close second at Durrow, whilst track recruit Loughaderra Flame and Somethinboutangela are others to note.

TONY THE BEAR represents an in-form stable and he went very close to recording a debut success at Durrow last month when getting collared in the dying strides to go down by a head. He will be hoping to go one better here. Ultimate Getaway disappointed at Ballyragget last month but would have claims on his Tinahely debut, Jimmil was no match for Billaway at Downpatrick but went close at Belclare, whilst Broomfield Boy made the frame at Kildorrery.

MAIFITZS MADONNA put up a very likeable performance when recording a second consecutive success at Durrow late last month. She could well bring up her hat-trick in this. Whatsdastory put up one of her best performance to date when she chased home Notice To Close at Monksgrange, whilst Winter Getaway put in a likeable display to win her maiden at Liscarroll and will be expected to get into the mix in this.

LONGHOUSE MUSIC has been among the winners in each of the last two weekends and goes in search of a remarkable eighth success of the season here. She is unlikely to face her stablemate, the recent Barbour Cup winner Some Are Lucky, and so the chief danger may come from Electric Concorde, who could once again face All Hell Let Loose, a horse that he defeated to win at Ballyragget last month.
