Track Biography:
The Pigeon Hill Committee and the Carrigtwohill Committee amalgamated in 1958 to form the Pigeon Hill & Carrigtwohill point-to-point Committee.
They have organised a Point-to-Point in the Carrigtwohill area ever since. 2018 is the 60th Anniversary of this race meeting.
Traditionally race day has been an occasion when the people of the parish came out in large numbers to enjoy a day of fun and activity.
Full details of all our special offers are on the Pigeon Hill and Carrigtwohill Point to Point Facebook Page.
The excellent condition and quality of the Ballyvodock track historically has attracted a large number of entries from owners and trainers from all over Ireland.

The course at Ballyvodock is now in its fourth year and this track has found favour with both owners/ trainers and with the public as it is a big galloping track with a marvellous natural viewing stand. They race for two and a half circuits of the course in an anti-clockwise direction.
Our free parking is located close to the finishing straight which allows race goers to get a close-up of the action from the comfort of their cars if they wish.
We also provide a disability parking area with fence viewing on the home straight.
In our bookmakers ring you can view and bet on any off-course races on the day in both England and Ireland.
The course will have a tent with soup and sandwiches for sale which are prepared by some of our committee members.
We also have an outside catering vendor which has a variety of catering options for sale from burgers and baps to chips.
Each year we also have an ice cream van in attendance.
Race goers can avail of the wide variety on offer.
There will be teas and coffees available from our hard working volunteers in our catering tent.
We would also recommend sampling some of our home-made soup. The perfect 'warmer upper' between races.
Whilst our outside caterer will have a range of minerals on offer.
Something to suit all members of the family.
Traditionally race days have been an occasion when the people of the parish came out in large numbers to enjoy a day of fun and activity.
To mark the 60th milestone this year’s meeting has been designated as a Family Fun Day with special emphasis on entertaining the young in a safe enclosed children’s play area with a Bouncing Castle and Face Painting in the Marquee and other entertainment while the adults enjoy the races and maybe back a winner with the Bookies.
