Track Biography:

The Kilworth & Araglen Point-to-Point will be unveiling their new track at Knockanohill, near Kilworth on Sunday 12th March.

In order to celebrate the return, the committee will be offering free entry to the public, so everyone is welcome to attend.

Also with every racecard purchase there will be an entry into an exciting raffle where a total of 13 prizes can be won.  Please see below.

How To Get There

From Cork

Take the N8 out of Crok city and get on the M8 towards Dublin/Fermoy. Follow the M8, take exit 14 from the M8 on to the R639 to Fermoy/Kilworth. Turn right onto New Rd to enter Kilworth and join the R667. The track is located just after Kilworth GAA club.

From Dublin

Take the N7/N8 out of Dublin towards Limerick/Cork. Follow M7 & M8 towards Cork. Take exit 13 from the M8 on to the R639 to Fermoy/Kilworth. Turn left onto the R667 to Kilworth and the track is located just after Kilworth GAA club.

By Air

The course is located 40 minutes from Cork airport and an hour-and-a-half from Shannon airport.

Combined with extensive free parking we have a clear viewing track that allows race goers to get as close to the action as possible.

We can also provide disabled parking on the day if racegoers inform one of our parking stewards on their way into the point-to-point.

In our bookmakers ring you can view and bet on any off-course races on the day in both England and Ireland.

Our outside catering providers will have a range of delicious offerings available to ensure you do not go hungry on the day !

We are delighted to announce that we will have a gourmet coffee van serving everything from Americanos to Lattes to a perfect cup of tea, all you need to satisfy all your caffeine cravings.

Our outside catering will have a range of soft drinks and water.

We don't have a dress code but do recommend suitable clothing and footwear. Perfect excuse the get the wellies out!
Absolutely, we encourage it. Just make sure they are kept on a leash at all times.
Our race meeting is a great location for a picnic from the boot especially if the weather is kind to us.
At our point-to-point, we are lucky to have wide open spaces for children to play in a safe environment.
We don't have an ATM on site but Fermoy is our nearest town which is located a short walk from the track.

Knockanohill point-to-point races is the perfect day out for all the family. Just a short walk from Fermoy town meaning a day at races is accessible to one and all. And for those travelling from further afield we have free carpark.

If a great day outdoors in the Irish countryside is not enough, we will have pony rides to kepp the little ones entertained. Also, weather permitting there will be a bouncing castle !
