A slow jump at the last cost ECLAIR DES SABLONS victory on his seasonal reappearance at Lisronagh last Saturday, and providing that recent run has not left its mark, he should be right there. Flaming Glory offered promise in the spring and has to be considered a serious danger on his return from a summer break, whilst the likes of Murphys Law and De Hollow Man are others that cannot be discounted.

GLORIOUS ZIVA ran one of her best races on what was her first outing for Aidan Kennedy, finishing second at Damma House a fortnight ago. She could be the one to follow in this quite open race. Le Hachette has finished placed on both of her point-to-point appearances this season, improving to go down by just a length at Loughbrickland last month. She is the obvious danger.

The Sam Curling-trained SOME ARE LUCKY will look to become the first horse this season to win three races following recent victories at The Pigeons and Ballinaboola, and he is clearly improving all the time, suggesting he will be bang there. Samanntom saw his form tail off somewhat at the end of last season, but if returning anywhere close to some of his better performances at the likes of Borris House or Castletown-Geoghegan, he would be a serious challenger, whilst Cloudy Morning is another recent winner, having scored at Damma House, and he represents some in-form connections.

A competitive concluding contest, featuring a host of horses with previous placed form, chief amongst them is OVERBURY PRINCE. The 11-year-old has made the frame, both under rules and in points, with his latest second-place finish coming at Dawstown in the spring. He is deserving of a maiden success. Tippinawaynow, Peter The Butler, Jean Lecroix and Bright Rhett all have strong creditable claims.
