Track Biography:
The point-to-point course is located at Loughanmore, Dunadry near Templepatrick.
Our landowner, Wilson Dennison has owned and produced a number of top-class national hunt horses including graded winners Yorkhill, Shaneshill, and Bellshill.
Our point-to-point is proud to have launched the career of many talented young horses who have gone on to make six figure sums at the horse-in-training sales in both Ireland and the UK. Some of the leading names include the Cheltenham festival winner Ted Veale and the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Truckers Tavern.
Its reputation as one of the premier tracks in the country, ensures that is has a particularly strong recent roll of honour, with the four-year-old maiden that is run at their Easter fixture really standing up to the test of time.

By Road
From Belfast– Take the M2 to the international airport exit. Turn left to Templepatrick and take the third exit off the first roundabout. Once you pass the Hilton Hotel take the first road on the left.

Loughanmore point-to-point is located 15 minutes from Belfast International airport and 25 minutes from George Best airport.

JERRYSBACK was a well-supported favourite ahead of his seasonal re-appearance at Tinahely last Sunday when he only managed to get as far as the second fence. A big run was clearly expected from the son of Jeremy, and he therefore is likely the one to beat here. Alone No More will likely be a strong danger as he was running a big race in that Tinahely contest when coming down at the final fence whilst throwing down a big challenge. That opening effort will have taught him plenty, and he should play a big role. Fellow Wexford raider Special Prep finished third on his latest outing and will be suited by ground conditions.

The Colin McBratney yard went close with an ex-track recruit at Toomebridge on the opening day of the season in a similar contest, and their representative here, RALEAGH MOUNTAIN could be worth a second look having finished placed over hurdles at Perth during the Summer. Ballyhome has recent race fitness on his side, whilst Land League could get involved if re-capturing the best of his form having struggled of late. Of the newcomers, the John Paul Brennan yard has really started the season strongly and his Major Shapes may be worth nothing.

An interesting contest with a number of horses that have contrasting profiles entered. TALKISCHEAP defeated last Sundays Tinahely 4yo winner Manitowoc County on his debut at Lisbeg, and whilst he was very disappointing at Tipperary in May, it is worth giving him a second chance on his recovery mission. Hazinowings will be suited by ground conditions having already got on the scoreboard this season at Toomebridge, whilst Benarty Hill is back between the flags following 17 starts on the track. He finished second at Downpatrick on his latest two outings during the Summer, and he could get involved here.

Ourmanmassini galloped his rivals into submission to run out a wide-margin winner at Castletown on that same weekend, and he would look the clear alternative to the selection. The Champion Mare Maple Mons is looking to record her fourth straight success, whilst the 140-rated hurdler Call Me Bubbles and Balnaslow are decent track recruits in their own right.
