Track Biography:
The Stonehall Harriers were formed in 1911 and have their kennels in Bansha Askeaton, Co. Limerick.
Point-to-points have been a large part of the hunts calendar for many years.
We now run 3 meetings a year Ballysteen & Moig South.
Many talented riders and horses have graduated from the Stonehall Harriers point-to-points Adrian Maguire rode his first winner on this track which we hope to see this continuing in the years to come.
This will be our second year in Cragmore on the Costello’s Family land and is a terrific track which is always very well received.
Grade 1 winner Death Duty won his four-year-old maiden here in 2015 and provided Derek O’Connor with his 1000th winner between the flags, making him the first point-to-point rider to ever achieve this remarkable milestone.

Timewaitsfornoone is the only horse with previous form to his name having finished second at Punchestown last Sunday, and that experience will likely stand to him if running here.

LICKADOON LADY offered plenty of encouragement with her opening third at Belharbour earlier this month and with further improvement expected, she could be the answer to this wide open race. Cloneen Dream has plenty of experience to her name having twice finished second including at Ballyvodock last month, and she will likely offer the main danger to the selection. Cloudy Day, an early faller at Nenagh on her debut is another to consider.

STRANGFORD LOUGH was a well-backed favourite ahead of the Hunter Chase at Clonmel earlier this month, and whilst he may have parted company with Nina Carberry on that occasion, he will likely gain deserved compensation here having finished placed over hurdles at Down Royal earlier in the season. Castle On A Cloud made an encouraging re-appearance before parting company with his rider in the closing stages at Oldtown. His close second behind recent Kempton Bumper winner Stowaway Magic has also been boosted and he will be a strong danger to the selection.

Emeralds Choice was a fairly easy winner of a Confined maiden at Ballindenisk and will likely be suited by the conditions which could bring him into the mix. Ten Past is returning from a long lay-off, whilst both Old Present and Knocksquire will need to step-up on last time out non-finishes.
